Form A Flat Washers - Galvanised
Product Description
Flat Washers are flat rings with a hole; which is normally used to distribute the load of a threaded fastener. They can be used as a spacer, a buffer, a wear pad, to reduce vibration or to act as a smooth barrier to reduce friction between two surfaces.
Galvanising adds a protective layer to the steel, giving a greater corrosion resistance and making them suitable for outdoor use. Due to the thicker plating only galvanised nuts and washers will fit galvanised bolts. Galvanised plating has a rough, dull grey finish.
Form A washers are the most commonly used washers. They have a normal Diameter with thick cross section.
